ENGLISHeWord Challenge is a free Boggle online word game with several options to suit different skill levels. It is a longtime favorite board game of word lovers as every round is filled with fun and excitement.
New player can register in two easy steps:
1. Enter a new Player ID and PIN code.
2. Complete the reCAPTCHA challenge.
Note: Login as "guest" is allowed for instant access using a temporary account.
Options for play mode are Play Solo, Host and Challenger.
"Play solo" mode is good if you want to test your spelling or learn new words. An added feature is the search of all possible words at the end of the round. If no else is around, playing alone offers an opportunity to practice for speed.
Player can be "Host" or "Challenger" in a multiplayer room. The session can be free-for-all singles or by team. A group can limit participants by using a private code or setting a minimum Elo rating requirement.

The last parameter applies to words formed from plural noun or singular verb whose root word is below minimum word length.
eWord Challenge has adopted the traditional Boggle scoring based on the number of letters. Following is the score matrix for each correct word:

Point deduction is imposed on each incorrect word according to the minimum word length.

Elo rating system is used to rank the players. Bonus ELO will be are awarded in every round even while playing solo.
A word is considered correct if (a) it is in the dictionary, and (b) its letters are all connected.
The dictionary is built on the list of words compiled by SCOWL (And Friends) as of 2020.12.07.
Offensive and/or indecent words are not allowed and will be filtered.
The website is designed for desktop, tablet and mobile devices. Words can be entered by means of any of the following: (a) type on a keyboard/keypad, (b) click and slide with a mouse, or (c) touch and slide on a touchscreen.
